In 2021 while being unable to go back to my home city, I decided to visit it on Google Street View. Unfortunately, I found out that it did not officially exist in India, so all the pictures on there had been taken by regular people instead of a Google car. It made me feel strange to view my hometown through someone else’s eyes, so I took screenshots and compiled some of them in a booklet to record the absence of familiarity I felt in a place I consider my home.
The next booklet contains an essay analyzing the previous project after a few months.
